More on Seth and Arlynda

Seth and Arlynda are doing really well. Since they took Seth out about 3 weeks early (it is Arlynda's fourth C-section after all) his lungs were having a little bit of a hard time adjusting to the outside, so they took him into the NICU. They were giving his lungs help with a little bit of positive pressure (tubes shoved in his nose that gave just a little extra pressure to keep the airways open). Today he is off the positive pressure (which he is happy with. He didn't like those tubes in his nose). The NICU nurses said he doesn't need anything more from them, so he will probably get out of the NICU soon (maybe today?!). In the mean time, Arlynda seems to be doing really well and is having loads of fun (ha ha) pumping colostrum for Seth. Actually she would really like to be feeding Seth directly, which will probably be happening soon.

Stay tuned for more photos...
