The Man Who Was Poe by Avi
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I'm not sure how much I like Avi. He seems to have an affinity for putting children in completely wretched circumstances (in his stories I mean): cold, starving, and pursued by ruthless adults.
Poe as an insane maniac who increasingly could not distinguish between his own fiction and reality, nor between his writing and his actions in the real world was interesting.
